Lebanon’s severe economic decline has driven a vast number of its citizens into poverty. Tripoli, with pre-existing socio-economic challenges, has been disproportionately impacted. The rapid devaluation of the Lebanese pound and soaring food prices have led to a widespread inability to secure sufficient food, compelling many families in Tripoli to face severe food scarcity.

OUR FRESH QURBAN PROGRAM

Muslim Aid Australia is implementing a humanitarian aid project to improve food security and nutrition for families in Tripoli by distributing fresh meat during Eid al-Adha. Our program is designed with the utmost care and adherence to Islamic principles:

• Ethical Sourcing: Before Eid, our experienced team visits local farmers and suppliers to inspect the livestock meticulously. We ensure that all animals meet strict Islamic guidelines and are defects-free.
• Halal Sacrifice: During the three days of Eid, the animals are sacrificed according to Halal procedures under the supervision of our dedicated staff or a trusted representative.
• Preparation & Packaging: The meat is carefully prepared and packaged into individual bags or boxes for needy families.
• Local Delivery: We prioritise delivering the Qurban meat directly to families and communities within the designated regions, ensuring your donation reaches those most in need.
