Yemen remains in the grip of a severe humanitarian crisis, largely driven by the ongoing naval blockade imposed by Saudi Arabia since 2015. This blockade restricts nearly all imports, despite Yemen relying on imports for 90% of its food. As a result, over 21 million people have been pushed into famine, and in 2023 alone, a child died every 15 minutes due to the worsening conditions.
